A red ribbon for World Aids Day

Friends. Be safe, be sensible and donate what you can. Or do whatever feels good to you for someone in need. There's lots of volunteering that can be done on this issue.

I've tried to volunteer for stuff like this in the past but with little success owing to lack of experience (how will I get any if you don't gimme a chance?!) But the Terrence Higgins Trust site says they give training so I'll look into volunteering with them

I've done some volunteering. I dunno whether it made any difference, but I hope so. The only thing which could make a real differnce would be a cultural change in countries with endemic HIV. Until the culture is changed, I fear that health education with the best will in the world will have little impact.
